They Are Going To Need Larger Vehicles.

USPS-LogosWell the U.S. Postal Service has finally started to think outside the box or should I say in additional boxes. We all know that the U.S. Postal Service is in dire straits and even tried and Saturday mail delivery to save money. Their latest idea, which is clearly driven by the financial hardship, is to allow them to deliver beer, wine and liquor to homes.

The reason it cannot do so right now is because of a 1909 law that was passed during the whole temperance craze. This law does not allow them to ship any kind of fermented beverage that contains alcohol of any kind. Should be interesting to see how Congress handles this one since it seems that very little gets accomplished anymore. Not that that’s a bad thing.
